Scientific and Educational Programs of the Eurasian Art Union
The Eurasian Art Union is not only an exhibition and publishing platform but also a serious center of scientific and educational thought. We bring together experts, art historians, curators, artists, and educators to discuss pressing issues in the theory, history, and practice of fine art. Our symposia and conferences are a space for professional dialogue where new ideas are born and guidelines for the development of art are shaped.
Scientific Symposia and Conferences
We gather experts to discuss pressing issues in the theory, history, and practice of fine art.
The EAC holds regular scientific events that unite researchers, practitioners, and all those who care about the fate of art. These are opportunities to present one's research, hear authoritative opinions, and engage in professional discussion.
Our ongoing projects and conferences:
"Art Ring"
A discussion platform where different points of view on current problems of art collide. A format of lively dialogue, polemics, and the search for truth. "Art Ring" is a place where everyone can speak and be heard.
"Firsthand"
An author's project by Arkady Babich — a series of meetings and interviews with leading masters, art historians, and curators. Here, creators themselves speak about creativity and the profession — without intermediaries or generalities. "Firsthand" is a unique source of knowledge and inspiration.
"Art in an Era of Change"
An international conference devoted to the transformations that art is undergoing in a changing world. Topics: new forms, new meanings, new challenges. Participants: art historians, philosophers, artists, and cultural scholars.
"Church Traditions: Issues of the Revival of Contemporary Church Art"
A conference devoted to one of the most important and complex topics — the revival and development of church art in the contemporary context. Questions of canon and creativity, tradition and innovation, spiritual meaning and artistic form.
"Art in the Era of Globalization"
A conference on how globalization affects national schools, art markets, and creative identities. Dialogue of cultures, exchange of experience, and the search for a balance between the universal and the unique.
"Innovations in Art Education"
A conference for educators, methodologists, and all those working in the field of art education. New technologies, methods, approaches, and contemporary challenges. How to teach art today so that it lives tomorrow.
Participation in Federal State Forums
The Eurasian Art Union actively participates in key federal and international forums, representing the interests of the creative community and promoting the values of art at the state level.
World Youth Festival
The largest international event uniting young people from different countries. The EAC participates in the festival program, organizes creative platforms, exhibitions, and meetings, presents works by young authors, and discusses the future of art in a global context.
Forum of United Cultures
An authoritative platform for dialogue among cultural and artistic figures. The EAC contributes to the discussion of current issues of cultural policy, heritage preservation, and the development of contemporary artistic practices. Participation in the Forum allows the Union to strengthen intercultural ties and promote its authors' initiatives at the federal level.
Participation in forums of this scale is recognition of the EAC's role in the cultural life of the country and an opportunity for Union members to make themselves known in the broadest context.
Educational Programs
Enlightenment, growth, and professional development.
The EAC's scientific events are closely linked to the Union's educational activities. We hold lectures, master classes, open sessions, and methodological seminars aimed at raising the cultural level and artistic literacy.
Main formats:
- Lectures — on the history, theory, and practice of art.
- Master classes — from leading masters and heads of EAC guilds.
- Open sessions — for the general audience and beginning authors.
- Methodological seminars — for teachers and education workers.
- "Art-Lector" School — a system of continuous creative education.
